Amendments to the Legal Framework

In addition to our policy resolutions, two amendments to the legal framework of the association were adopted:

 

Factual corrections:

Information presented inaccurately during the debate on a motion can now be corrected immediately by means of a ‘factual correction’, as is also possible in Parliament, for example.

 

Open run-off vote under the Alex Müller procedure:

If, under the Alex Müller procedure, two or more proposals receive the same number of points, an open run-off vote takes place. From now on, this vote will no longer have a specific name.

 

Liquidity reserve:

The provisions regarding the requirement for a liquidity reserve in the context of the investment of the association’s assets have been clarified somewhat.
