JUNOS Vorarlberg Elects a New Executive Board at the State Convention

Last Saturday, JUNOS Vorarlberg elected a new executive board at its state convention.

The new state chair is Konstantin Kudra (20) from Nüziders. The young politician has been active with JUNOS and NEOS for nearly seven years; he is a member of the NEOS State Executive Committee and, as the parliamentary group leader, is also the youngest municipal council member in Nüziders. Also elected to the executive board were André Runggaldier from Dornbirn, Elias Reis from Hohenems, and Simon Herburger from Rankweil. “I’m really looking forward to this new role. There’s great potential in Vorarlberg. We have many young people who value the same things we do: freedom, intergenerational justice, and putting a stop to the accumulation of debt at the expense of the young and working people in this state,” said Kudra after his election.

A Clear Focus on Housing and Social Mobility
Housing and social mobility have always been central issues for JUNOS—and Kudra intends to place even greater emphasis on them in the coming year: “In recent years, there has been virtually no progress on housing policy in Vorarlberg. The state government is fast asleep on the long-standing housing policy issue. We urgently need new housing concepts and a faster pace.” An entire generation is being held back by high rents, expensive home prices, and a lack of prospects: “Young people in Vorarlberg who want to take on responsibility must not be held back by the housing market. Social mobility must once again be possible for everyone in this state.”

With a strong, diverse team, JUNOS Vorarlberg aims to increase its visibility in 2026—through events, key policy priorities, and clear demands on state policymakers.
